  1.     FIRST BATTLE

  3. The objective of this First
  4. Battle scenario, is to
  5. destroy all the opposing force
  6. units before the opposing
  7. force destroys all of the
  8. unit you control.
  9.  
  10. There are BLUE and RED units
  11. in this scenario, which mostly
  12. conform to the technology of
  13. warfare found in 20th century
  14. planet Earth armies.  There
  15. are Main Battle Tanks, Recon
  16. Tanks, AFVs (Armored Fighting
  17. Vehicles), MLRSs (Multiple
  18. Launch Rocket System), Attack
  19. and Transport Helicopters and
  20. Ground Support Jet Aircraft.
  21. And of course, squads of
  22. armed troops (Mech Squad).
  23.  
  24. The battlefield is a world of
  25. several islands in a planet
  26. covering ocean.  The BLUE
  27. forces are occupying the north
  28. east island, called Northland.
  29.  
  30. The RED units have landed two
  31. tanks on Northland in an
  32. attempt to take control of the
  33. island from the BLUE forces.
  34.  
  35. BLUE Air support is available
  36. from the BLUE base on the
  37. island of Centerland, which
  38. is in the center of this
  39. planet's ocean.
  40.  
  41. RED Air support and assault
  42. infantry are available from
  43. the RED base on the isle of
  44. Homeland, which is due east
  45. of Northland.
  46.  
  47. The scenario lasts for 10 turns.
